Age-old Ayurvedic preparation which once upon a time used to be a household remedy for day to day ailments like – body pains, Knee pains, backache, cough and cold, stomach ache, vomiting, dysentery and diarrhoea etc..
How to Use:
Cough and Cold: Pour 2 – 3 drops of Amrit Dhara on a clean Handkerchief or cloth and inhale the vapours through deep breathing. Or Pour 8 – 10 drops of Amrith Dhara in hot water and inhale its vapours. This will help in de-congesting your chest and remove the nasal blockage.
Dysentery, Vomiting and Stomach Upset: Pour 1-2 drops of Amrit Dhara on a teaspoon of sugar or a Natasha, or drink these by adding to a glass of warm water. This will comfort the stomach and stop nausea. Repeat if the problem persists.
Cholera: Taking 4-5 drops of Amrit Dhara (as mentioned above) helps in Cholera. Depending upon the severity of infection Amrit Dhara could be taken two to three times after 15 minutes interval.
Insect Bite: In case of insect bite especially bite by Bumble Bee, Honey Bee and Scorpio, put 1 drop of Amrit Dhara and rub it gently on the bite. It will give relief from pain. Additionally, Carom (Ajwain) leaves can be crushed and pasted on the bite and covered with a clean cloth strip.
